Just given my SHARRON TDI to a tunning company for the day, on the reciept it said engine revamp, what could the have done its MAD, Its going like feck.

I suspect that it really says "remap" but then it's also probably a "tuning" company.

JUST CHECK BILL it says remap your correct, guy called Ray West did it
they'll have put a performance boosting plug in box in the engine management wiring.

You're not really into this stuff, are you? Does it says which software they've used, AMD, Jabba....? Which engine is in your Sharan? If it's a PD motor then they might well have flashed the Eprom with the new map through the diagnostic port. If your engine was originally a 115 PD then you've probably now got around 145 to 150 bhp and c. 250 lbs-ft of torque. If, on the other hand, you had a later PD 130, then we could be talking anything up to c. 180 bhp and 300 lbs-ft of torque.Le singe

They've probably just welded-up the turbo wastegate,enjoy....should be good for at least 500 miles.
ah yes, forgot about the diagnostic port mods. all the rage now i believe.
