I've just fitted a second hand Techlusion & I think the bikes running rich. Has anyone out there got any base settings that I can use? Im going over to TTS to have it set up on the dyno sometime next week, but in the mean time i don't want to do any damage. I don't know if it makes any difference but my bikes an 01 GS with Y piece & remus revolution.

Thanks for any help,

Daz.

Cheers

I did search the site, but had limited time. There did'nt seem to be any info on base settings for an 01 GS. It maybe that all GS engines use the same base settings, I dont know. I've got a multi-meter, but as I dont have any settings, it doesn't do me any good.

Thanks for the reply,

Daz.

Bandit, yes I have a K&N fitted. I reset the Techlusion yesterday & it seems to be running really well. The settings I used are as follows:- 3 4 4 8. Do these settings look anything like yours? As I said before, I am having the bike set up by TTS just as soon as the weather breaks. I dont know if the bike will run any better, but it will give me peace of mind.

Thanks for the help,

Daz.

Ok

Sounds like we have identical bikes.

I will check my settings tonight. My bike was set up by Dynospeed Developments.

Daz,

I posted a thread on here about 3-4 weeks ago about having a Techlusion box fitted. It has made a noticeable difference to the running of the bike.

But, from the discussions that came out, I don't know if there is a 'stock' setting for GS bikes, as there are now so many different ones out there - 1100, 1150, twin spark, etc. Mine which i posted for my '02 Adv were different from those someone else posted.

The advice I was giving was to get the bike dyno'd too - it will be able to tell you exactly where the bike is running rich and lean and will flatten out the peaks and troughs.

Rugbug your right, the only way to set up the Techlusion to get the most out of it is to have it dyno'd. I was looking for some ball park settings to use that wouldn't do any harm in the mean time.

Cheers, Daz.

Techlusion

Keith the readings I used are just off the dials. I have no idea what the best multi-meter readings are, thats why im having the bike dyno'd. I think that the perfect setup for each bike will differ, as there are too many variables to take into account.

The order of setup that I used is as follows:-
4 8

3 4
I hope this is of some help to you.
