I've just got me a Techlusion R259 to fit to my 02 1150GS.

I get it secondhand off Shurv from this site, without instructions. I've found the instructions on the Techlusion site for the 1030 (which I think is latest version of the R259). They don't have any for the R259.

My questions are:

1) Is it the same installation procedure as for the 1030?
2) Do I disconnect the wire to the oxygen sensor for this model?

To avoid any confusion this is the model with 3 wires - red and blue that clip to the FI wires and an earth.

Ta!

Reading the techlusion site it seems the R259 is for "stock configuration BMW twins with the oxygen sensor left intact".

Is this thing actually going to be of any benefit as I have a y-piece and Remus can? v:confused:

guzz,

I have a R259 fitted to my 04 1150. I also have the destructions.

If you PM me your address I will Photo Copy my set and post the copy off to you ..... :thumb

I fitted a Y Piece and can and had it tested on a rolling road. Bike was running too lean for my liking with the new bits fitted so I got the 259 and set it up on the test bed. The 259 was developed to enable you to richen the mixture up ........;)

In the post tomorow bud .... ;)
