I’ve got my telelever off the bike for painting and noticed that the bearing’s on one side feel a bit graunchy: given the limited amount of rotation they do is it worth replacing them? And if so, can anyone who’s replaced their’s tell me what’s the best way of getting them out please?

Ta.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

That's the wrong end - he's after advice on the telelever not paralever:blast Following this with interest as I'm about to replace my telelever arm too. Keep us informed:thumby:

they are not a very tight fit,warm the wishbone with hot air gun ,then they should tap out!
I use a hydraulic press but only cos I have one!
It's total overkill and they come out easily.
Put the new bearings in the freezer and reheat the wishbone they should just drop in.

Thanks for that.

I forgot to say that the bearing in question looks like it’s had water ingress.

I’ve ordered the parts and I’ll report back on progress.

Meanwhile, bearings removed by application of a suitable-sized socket and big hammer - yes, a hydraulic press would have been nice ;-) - and one of them was definitely knackered.
