Little job for the evening....yeah right.
Read and then re-read the manual. Got the heat gun out in case of red loctite? But still this
Now according to the manual this should have just unscrewed (the left side)?? It was fecking tight so tried heat. No way was it going to budge and its not going anywhere now
it exploded under load (no mention of it being left hand thread in the manual?). First things first I need to get this out and was planning to chain drill around the outside, what I need is an idea of what it looks like, its thickness so I know how deep to go and whats behind it before I go charging in.
The other side
Is just a fecking tight but it will turn under much duress and with a long bar on the wrench. it also makes all sorts of groans doing it....but it won't come undone?? I presume there is another nut behind the other side? Is this spindle normally full of red loctite?
Come on guys do what you do best..next to taking the piss that is
