Temp repair to screen

I am on my 3rd screen but the cracks are around the mounting holes again.

Temp repair done, drilled two holes to hopefully stop the cracking going any further.

Next screen will non BMW I think.

Never understood how people manage to crack their screens. I have no such issue.

They were not overtightened, the 2nd screen the dealer fitted. Number 3 by myself and the rubber grommets were also fitted.

I believe it so down to buffeting and over time stress cracks appear. It is not unique I have seen it on loads of bikes admittedly 2013/14 bikes. Maybe BMW have changed the design so they are more robust.
