Does anyone know the temperature versus electrical resitance gradient for the air intake sensor (air box lid)?

Thank you for the response, but that is not what I meant.
I refer to the change in resistance of the AIT as temperature changes. ie at 10 celsius it may be 2k ohms and at 100 celsius .1k ohms.

What type?

Do you know if its definately a rtd (resistance temperature device) or is it a thermocouple? I would suspect a RTD and these are fairly linear. Generally RTD's have a resistor in the circuit so 0 Deg C is 100 ohms and 100Deg C is 139.5 Ohms if my memory serves me correct. This is for a platinum based RTD.

If you know the probe type I can probably get you the info.

PS This offer closes at 1100 hrs Thursday when my Chopper arrives to take me home for Crimbo.

On the K11

0C 5500 ohms
20C 2500 ohms
40C 1250 ohms
60C 600 ohms
80C 320 ohms
100C 190 ohms

Both the air and water temperature sensors have the same curve. This means that when the engione is 'cold' (at air temperature) the two sensors should have the same value. I measured both and had a difference between the two of 6%.

I'd think the oilhead may be similar.
