Here's hoping the weather is not in the least but shite and you can arrive in style on two wheels at Boxer Beet :JB :camping :JB

Nice one chap, :beerjug:
And good to see that the twin 650/800 is as frugal on the juice as the single cylinder jobbers - looks like the twin will be something similar to replace my 02 650GS when the time comes :thumb

Thanks for sharing , just one tip , get a headlight protector , cut plastic like mine £2.50 or £ 22 from many sellers. Ive seen so many f650's with cracked headlights, mine included.

the makeover continues -
As the sun was out,it was time to clear coat the panniers.
Cheap way of keeping them looking good and not dull -

Why the feck BMW can't make the mudguard longer is beyond me

Next is TT bar risers.
AS i went to undo the bolt securing the handlebars on " SHOCK HORROR ".
All the bolts were loose or finger tight [Sally you were lucky you did not have an accident]

As the picture shows fine alloy dust where the bars had been moving - :eek

<a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/706/008fgl.jpg/'><img src='http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/8204/008fgl.jpg' border='0'/></a><br>

All sorted and tightened to the correct torque -

<a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/225/010mra.jpg/'><img src='http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/4328/010mra.jpg' border='0'/></a><br>

It doesn't bare thinking about what could of happened had the bars come completely loose, having had a very serious motorcycle accident, i am just glad i always go through any bike i get.

Grip puppies next.
As i have wrist fusion on my left wrist and a u/s right arm, i cannot handle vibration and these are very helpful and cheap.

<a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/18/011oim.jpg/'><img src='http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/483/011oim.jpg' border='0'/></a><br>

I always use a top box to carry my walking sticks and stuff and only had a Hepco & Becker rack off God knows what, so time to make it fit.

Standard rear end -

<a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/163/013ic.jpg/'><img src='http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/6131/013ic.jpg' border='0'/></a><br>

New holes drilled and sorted -

Clever use of what i had until i can get some proper spacers made, at least she's on, not that you can see them when the top-box is on -

<a target='_blank' title='ImageShack - Image And Video Hosting' href='http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/32/016stw.jpg/'><img src='http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/2428/016stw.jpg' border='0'/></a><br>

Top-box on -
