Made of 3.5mm thick aluminum. Mounts with 8mm countersunk screws and rubber mounted. Easy to change oil and protects all the vitals.

Home safely after her first tour,7 days in the Emerald Isle.
Other than snow the weather through everything at the bike and myself.
The wee 650/800 was 100% first class,returned 64.4 MPG, fully loaded [panniers/top box] over 1100 miles and 90 of them was at 95-115 MPH on the Irish M1 following 2 eeejits on KTM's woooooooooooooooooooooooosh..............
Think i will keep her a while...................................
