Anyone going today? They have the full range available plus free soup and pies, not sure if open to all as I got an invite in the post, but I would assume so, the more the merrier I would have thought:thumb

Just back from Calderton, yes they had pies and soup, I along with several others hung around for over an hour, then give up and went home. No staff around they were all busy selling cars, no sign of any test rides, although they did have bikes out the back. Most people just drifted off home, maybe I was too early:nenau tried to find out if there was a plan for the day but to no avail, a wasted morning:mad:

Sorry to hear that. I was thinking about going but should have known better.
I stopped going near these a long time ago, looks like they haven't changed.

Cheers for the heads up.

Snap, Just home never saw anything going on! but not to worry was a nice day and enjoyed the 140 mile round trip on my own bike:thumb2

I thought I was being paranoid but the two times I've been in there I felt treated like pondlife.

I'm sorry to hear you were disappointed with our Test Ride day. I would admit we don't always get things right, however I believe the comments were a bit unfair. There were over 100 people at our Test Ride day. We served over 70 pies and the same amount of cups of soup. We did over 40 test rides on 15 demo bikes. Myself and Ivor were rushed off our feet all day trying to talk to everyone. We did have a huge amount of positive feedack both on the day and after. That said, why don't you come in we can have a chat, share a pie then you can take out any of the demos we have for a day for a good run! You can get me on 01463 236566.

Thanks

Sounds like it was a bit disappointing for the few that have popped on here to comment, shame really...:(

I have bought two bikes from Calterdon both times dealt with by Ross and had no problems at all with their service, even picking the bike up from Perth which is no small trip for them, on one occasion.

Shame I'm not up in Scotland full time at the moment, I've had some less than satisfactory service down here...

As Ross says, not everyone gets it right everytime... (You or any of your staff passing by the Somerset area with a trailer anytime soon Ross...:nenau :D )

Nothing disappointing about the sales team in Calderton at all...

That's why I bought my GS ADV from Dalkeith last year and my car from Highland Audi, just along the road....

Will never try again.

Was in Calterdon with the RD on Tuesday as it needed a part which they duly ordered and fitted the next day - got it serviced there in feb too. Nice friendly service. I'm just really glad they are there and I dont have to trail to sodding Dalkeith which for me is the opposite end of the universe now that bishopbriggs is closed...and I booked by email, tops, no need to phone and fanny about.
