TFT Flashing red light (Alarm?) while riding

Have not noticed this before but rode home today from work and noticed a little red flashing light just under where the headlight on and fog lamps on tell tale green lights. Flashed all the way home, looks like the alarm light, but have never noticed it before when riding. I did have a TFT update recently via BMW. Do they all do this?

Picture? I also have TFT but no bike alarm. Share a picture / video if you can.

It means your alarm has been activated, should stop when you reset the alarm.

Have you looked in the owners’ handbook, under ‘Flashing red lights, I have never seen before’?

Its a corrosion alert. Do not ride bike and take back to dealer.

FrankH - The only time ive seen the same light flash on mine is when the ignition is pressed & the key is out of range. Hope all is well, let us know how you get on.

Don't have TFT model but a 17 registration bike... it's not the hazards left on is it?

Without any more clues, hot weather engine overheating warning.

Went through the menu turned off the alarm then turned it back on. No flashing light when riding to work today. Maybe someone had moved the bike and activated alarm while it was parked. Anyway no probs.

Or checking to see if it had an alarm and will be back.
