TFT info required

Hi , info required concerning the color of the tft when washing the screen as I did today for the first time on my recent purchase and I was shocked when it turned black like I'd washed it with a lump of coal !,
Has the tft screen got some sort of coating on it or may be I have a screen protector fitted with out knowing,
A soon as the screen dries it goes back to normal and not a problem,

If it doesn’t have a screen protection film on it yet it ought to have, these things’aint cheap!

I got a toughened glass protector on mine as soon as I got it.
