Hi folks,

I'm trading in my bike and the dealer asked I reinstate Navigator Prep (I had TomTom). I got a mechanic to switch them over, but when I collected the bike, I noticed the menu button isn't toggling between, fuel/range/tyre pressure etc. He had to disconnect the battery - could this have caused the fault? It toggles fine when I go into settings so I don't think it's the button. Any ideas? Bike is under warranty so I'll have to take it to the local dealer - my new bike is not from them (slightly embarrassing) The bike is under warranty.

Any wisdom appreciated.

TIA

I have a Triple Black GSA bought in January.
It has only 130 miles on the clock and I have exactly the same issue. However, if I press the menu button again it will toggle between.

I haven't a fix - other than to say I will be mentioning it at the first service and I'm sure Alan Jeffries will sort it.

I’ve had no joy - tried 20 times. When I start bike it comes up with total mileage then switches to tank range a stays there. Hopefully just a software reset?

Hi, as far as i remember you need to go in bike menu and select what you want to see there.... maybe the battery disconnection affected what you see now.

Yeh, that was it, I didn't realsie. All sorted now, thanks :)

I don’t really want to start a new thread for this as it’s broadly similar.

I’m going to disconnect the battery on my 1250 to fit a heated gloves cable.

I’m hopeful this won’t disturb any settings? I haven’t touched anything from new except preferential engine modes.

No it won't disturb anything. Use the accessory positive to the right of the negative battery terminal for the 12v power supply.

Just need to reset the clock. Oh- and put the tracker in 'garage mode' before you start if it has one.

You're right of course. I don't reset the clock on mine as it sets itself from the Nav 6.

Not even sure if my new Triple black has a tracker..

Have all the new ones?
