I'm throwing in the towel.
Nav 6, tft display, iPhone and scalarider q1 just won't play nicely together.
Been trying to get a reliable connection for 3 weeks and failed. I have reached the conclusion that I don't really need all this tech on the bike after all. I can chat with shmbo with the intercom and listen to the radio with the fm tuner built into the scalarider.
It would be nice if all the tech worked but at the moment it's just too unreliable.
Not sure if it's a BMW issue or the scalarider so maybe a future update will sort it all out.
I have managed to set up my TFT, Nav 6 and Sena 20S evo and Sony Android phone to work well. I am using the BMW Motorrad app. My Nav and TFT are connected to phone 1 and 2 on the Sena and my phone is paired with the screen. The only problem I have is the clicking noise when I pause the music.
Bluetooth, BMW TFT screens, Navigator VI and other gizmos.
Hello,
I have had the same problems getting my bluetooth instruments to talk to each other. The following video is quite long but explains exactly for to get all these bluetooth machines to work seamless together.
I found it terrible, but just swapped over to a new helmet and used the 'spacers' to basically get closer to my ears!
Now it works superbly, just need to see if with comfort once the helmet wears in. Worst case, I reduced the size of the 'spacers' to get a better fit, but the key seems to be helmet style, or gap between speakers and ears.
Hi Guys sorry to but in on the thread but if you research on here or Pm me there are a full set of instruction how to get full functionality with Nav ( any 5 or 6) and a Bluetooth Headset and phone it’s just a matter or sequence once cracked it takes 5 minutes
