Just how accurate compared with GPS indicated speed is the display?

I've not compared it to my nav5 TBH and guess it will over read to some extent, but for me the key is I can actually read it easily which I found difficult with my MY 2016 GS and will soon know if for instance 30mph is a true 27 etc. so I can then ride accordingly. The problem I had trying to use the Nav5 for this was under acceleration it goes blank which if you're doing your advanced where speed management is critical (e.g. accelerating quickly up to but not beyond the posted limit) I found it to be as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

Doesn't do this on the nav 6.

I'm also doing my advanced, and whilst I'd have the tft screen in a heartbeat, when doing my advanced ride outs I would still continue to take the pair of readings for speed and speed limit, next to each other, on the nav. Not only do you have them side by side but of course the nav is a truer indicator of speed (which one can test for themselves when approaching 'speed reading' signs in 30 mph areas).

For what's it's worth, my analogue over reads by 2 mph at thirty, which is standard for all bmw vehicles (including cars).

What a lovely film... those seem like better times, that’s for sure (and for a multitude of reasons...)

Dave it is, I remember in the early seventies we were moored up on the West coast and I had a walk around this Island Luing it was called. In this derelict slate quarry was a young guy on a Greeves working his way up and down what seemed like vertical slopes doing sort of bunny hops and jumps I was fascinated by his skill but we didn’t have a conversation. I wonder if he was an islander or just a visitor.
