TFT Upgrade for early bikes.

My 2017 TE LC still has the old version display and I have to use the sat nav as a speedo as I can't read the standard dial on the go, This would be ace solution.
I am hoping someone has done the upgrade and can report back here to see it works well.

You could always get one and report back for us.

Shame they are sold out, I would love one of these as the clocks are the only annoying part of my GS for the same reason as captaindan.

Don’t hold your breath for these being available. They were withdrawn from sale worldwide due to issues ( Cel’s, disabling cruise control, false abs warnings, mileage errors etc ) It seems that BMW have made subtle variations to GS’s based on market location and hence the Koso firmware will not interact 100% with all features in all locations. Whether it resurfaces depends on whether a fix is cost effective to implement, as in just firmware.

There are 3 available after speaking to uk importer today who gets them from Germany.

There are a few on EBay that I presume were already in circulation pre the discovery of the problem. As of the end of March Koso told me they were still working on it. As a side note, once you re install your oem dash, say for a sale, then the bike needs to go on insta to re sync the oem dash to the ecu mileage.

Update. One of the US owners that flagged up the issues to Koso has said that he got an email on the 28th March that a fix was in testing and was due for release a week from then. Koso would then ship in small batches to test the water.

It appears that Ali Express sell a cable which allows you to retrofit an OEM TFT to earlier bikes.
