After being a member of the forums since October without actually owning a GS, I'm about to take the plunge. Going to look at a very nice 1150 GSA tomorrow and, all going well, should be able to collect on Saturday.... Anyone fancy a ride on Sunday morning. I'm in Taplow and up for anywhere. Usual rides for me (on my R1) are to Newlands Corner, Box Hill or out to Fox's cafe and then On Yer Bike but i'm up for any suggestions.

you could ride up the marlow bypass take a right onto the m40 then the a40 exit at wembly turning about a mile and meet at the ace cafe at 10ish for breckie with some like minded tossers pm me if your interested

I'm in maidenhead too. All going well, I get mey bike back on Friday and I a lot of catching up to do!!

We didn't meet in Hein Gericke Slough a while back did we. I was atlking about purchasing a GS back then and met someone who had just come back from a 3 month trip in South America.....

Or you could go on roads suited to GSs like all the little lanes around the area aroun Henley, Marlow, Hambledon, Frieth etc many of which are single track and covered in challenges ​

yes there are some great roads around there however theyre in the wrong direction

Enjoyed the ride so much that after coming of @ J2, headed out to Henley and the on to Fox's for a cup of tea... Got back around 1600 looking like a drowned rat. Good ride though..
