I recently posted a thread concerning the removal of a Cat from my 2004 adventurer and wether it would make any difference to the bike, Upto to this time the Adventurer never felt as good as people had described and I thought this was because I had owned a VFR 800 for three years and that being this was a totally different bike I would have to get used to it. After reading a thread from Steptoe regarding the re-mapping of the electronics and bridgeing two pins together in the fuse box area, This I did and it has transformed the bike, even though BMW had serviced the bike and fitted the Y piece so it makes you wonder how good the BMW dealerships are
