As I wasn't man enough to ride the whole route, I guess that I am the first one home, you're all still out and probably feeling like a spot of lunch now.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Woodsie, what better way to spend Sunday morning.

Mel.

CHRIST that was quick i presume you stuck to the speed limit:augie

see you all next time round....off to hosp. again looks like it's going to be a bit of a haul

I only did about a quarter of the route that Woodsie was good enough to organise (and test ride a couple of times), but here is my highlight from it.

Great thanks indeed to Kevin and Terry for sorting the day and route.

Good to see some of the old and some new faces.

Nice video clip WWW

Well we enjoyed it

After expecting only about 6 or 7 bikes to be there to get going with 13 was a bonus.

Thanks to Bob for doing the "tail-end-charlie" thing. Invaluable:thumb2.:clap:clap

There were at least 5 who had no experience of the drop off system and everyone seemed to get on with it fine - even Gazz and Steve who we collected en-route and didn't get a full brief:thumb

Thanks to all for coming along - great company, good ride with only one minor incident - when a stop on gravel lead to a tipping off but no harm done (and no photo).

I left out the worst bit of road as we had two road bikes and the hold up on the video was only a minor blip. WWW left us and we caught him at the hold-up. Only one nearly missed turn when my GPS decided to re-calculate:mmmm:mmmm

We only got as far as the pub in Woodchurch. We were running a bit behind schedule so hadn't stopped for a coffee break and two pubs together seemed welcoming. The Bonny Cravat had a carvery but the Six Bells next door had a larger selection of smaller meals and snacks. Great beer in both though.

People started to leave after a drink and a packet of crisps leaving 6 when we were ready to leave.

After Woodchurch we ran into Ashford to fuel up and then everyone went on their way. Not all the route covered but a great day out.

Perhaps the next one will be to end at a pub so that people can do their own thing afterwards

Sounds like great day and I am sorry I missed it. You obviously found some of the (normally) lesser used lanes!
