That Ed March bloke

I watched this over breakfast this morning. A much better start to the day than BBC news :clap

Enjoyed that. He definitely has right attitude to having an adventure without the need to attach the contents of a TT catalogue to a bike.

Yep. that was an excellent watch. I'm setting up to do the dalton next year and it makes my concerns look a bit silly.

Most entertaining...an he only managed to slag larger bikes half a dozen times.

:beerjug:

PS;Where do you find girlfriends like that?

I enjoyed that and like his style but the giggling gets a bit annoying. Having ridden that bastard of a road 5 times he's right with a couple of thing. The smaller the bike the easier it is but that can be said of most roads I reckon. In the dry, it's easy but when it rains it becomes hell on earth on a GS as those who have ridden it with me can vouch.

Oh, the trucks don't run you off the road and are generally courtious. They don't like bikes on there particularly as they aren't sure what's going to happen especially in bad weather. Best thing is to get out their way if they are catching you and they appreciate that.

It is pretty desolate for the most part but stunningly beautiful and unlike anywhere else I've ever been. Despite the love hate relationship I've got with that road, it keeps drawing me back so roll on next year when I'll drag another merry band of tossers kicking and screaming over the Atigun Pass

Been to his 'talks', very entertaining, good luck to him and his lass.... :thumb

You could have some fun with that hilarious mozzie thing. The rest is great too.

Being an old sea dog, anythings easy in good weather.:rob

Fucking ace and good luck to him and his lovely lady

He's even done one of the best hitler :ronno vids I've seen for a while (and this place gets a mention) :clap

Ed March is a nutter with a real sense of adventure!

I sponsored him his green 25 year old 'arctic survival suit' for his Arctic trip last year...............When I say sponsored I spent £8 posting it to him and said if it didn't fit just chuck it in the bin!:thumb2

He's still wearing it and it must be real mingin by now!:barf

FP.

Just watched the dvd, it's excellent! He does like taking the piss out of the GS though........lol

Have a read of his girlfriend Rachel's blog of the trip so far, an interesting read.

Start on page 2 at the bottom of the page.

It's really heartwarming to hear of all the kind, generous people who they have met along the way offering them somewhere to sleep / pitch their tent / pay for meals, there's still a lot of decent people in this me me me world :thumb2

I love this picture, they are both nutters :D:D
