The £8000 GS Adv

Don't knock it. With him asking £8000 for that 'very excellent' example it puts the value of the rest up a notch or two.

I know for certain this is correct: 24,000 1150 Adv was sold for £7499 and a slightly higher, 32,000 miles one was sold for £7250 - and they are both coming in for servicing at the selling dealers. It was these that gave me the valuation I needed to shout at the engineers for the value of mine. The clever sods had only valued mine as a standard 1150GS - so I simply pointed out that fact and the correct valuation for the Adventure model was higher... they agreed! :aidan

I can see the 1150s gaining some traction in the coming years, provided they aren't mullered. Look at how old British and Italian stuff is going through the skylight.... the silver 1150 Adventure is another iconic machine. It was the silver one in the gate fold brochure shot in Chile, and the silver one that made the TV public take notice. Those reasons will put a premium on the silver ones over the others. :beerjug:

40-50k miler 'very good condition' GSAs are going for £6k-ish

Are they ? I was talking to a used dealer who buys and sells a lot of adventure bikes just last month and he happened to mention that the 1150s are not selling well now , the last nice GSA he had took ages to sell and he didn’t make much on it even though he bought it well. He said they are getting too old now but aren’t really old enough to be “classically desirable “ and he won’t buy them even if they are nice unless they are very cheap.

White looks ok

Ive had mine 13 years and Im never selling my GSA. Ever.
Mind you, 10k might move it on so I can get a nice white AND silver one...

A Barrister we use has a 1150 GSA done next to no miles he has had it from new full BMW history etc etc

I keep offering him £3k for it and he is sorely tempted each time but sadly does not need the money

Tell him it’s worth fuck all - the markets dead as everybody wants TFT screens....

Was black, now silver.

Staying 'mine' though, so value is (now) irrelevant for me :)
