I've ridden most models of KTM and many of them float my boat, but after a whizz out today I can say this is the finest bike I've ever ridden.

I'd always wanted one and after a short ride on RobbieC's last year, my hands were shaking so much I couldn't roll a smoke. It fitted like a glove and was by far the most exciting bike out there for my needs (wants).

It seemed impossible to source a decent one so instead came close to buying a HP2, or at least I thought I did, but the owner was full of shite

After much searching I eventually found the right one and have spent a lot of time and effort getting it sorted and that's ongoing.

Anyway, I'm not going to piss on any 1190R/HP2/690 owners chips, so just a few photos from today :beerjug:

Ps Snowdonia?

That looks like a very nice example Tim. I rode Pipsters a couple of times , he bought a new one when they first came out and I went with him to pick it up from M+S if I recall.

Brilliant machine but too bloody tall for me .....Enjoy oh lanky one :thumb

So did I, and yes it was! :D
I did spend a fair amount of time looking for one to replace the 640 shortly after.
Looking good Tim.

That looks great and beautifully photographed. But you haven't said what it is - are we supposed to guess?? ;)
