Good post Watton ... been using Open Office and The Gimp (version 2.2) amonst others for Linux of recent times.
GParted is also a great Partition progam which I have used quite a bit with Linux and can be run from CD without installing
All very easy and fun to use ... (... in an anorak kina way
).
Wasn't aware you could get so much of it for windows also.
