Well guys ive bought an airoh s4 after reading all about the stupid delivery times of the enduro helmet from bmw, but am i glad i did it .......you bet your ass i am i went to devils bride for a ride out today( i can recommend riding on xmas day,no traffic,no cops) from Rossendale to whalley then up to devils bridge and back,a bit chilly but not to bad but the helmet was great comfy and fairly quiet, but better than that ive now read some reports about the visor scratching problem and vibrations at speed so i reckon i got out weel in time try an airoh s4 first they look great and are cheap and if any bits break they can get all of them no problem, i checked before i bought it.....................so its a big :thumb from me
it would be interesting to hear about any other lads that bought an s4 to see what they think

I hope its better in the rain than the old version tyger. dont leak, but the rain dosent clear of the visor very well. very comfy helmet as for the visors scratching never had any probs.
got black and clear bit fiddley to change.
I fancy a new one as mines 4 year old for the price defo value for money.:thumb

Saw one of these in the local bike shop, impressed with the value and will be buying one for my son soon, I'll stick with my Arai:)

Marushin helmets

If you're looking for a Tour-X look-alike, then you may be interested in these Marushin helmets, they seem to be quite highly regarded in the States.

Marushin helmets WARNING !
The visors are for off-road and competition use ONLY and should not be fitted for use on public roads
The visors are NOT supplied ready fitted

taken off there website.

I had a look at one in HG Birmingham a couple of weeks ago. Visors seemed a very poor fit :( These On /Off road helmets have a lot of compound curves required for the visors to fit the elongated nose section and i guess that costs money :nenau

but better than that ive now read some reports about the visor scratching problem and vibrations at speed so i reckon i got out well in time,

this quote is in reference to the bmw enduro helmet not the airoh s4
