I start a new job on Monday in Cardiff and it looks like I will be there or elsewhere in Wales most weeks for the forseeable future. I hope to get the bike down there and do some evening rides.

I hope to meet up with some of you soon. I am going back to to my roots (its in the name). so if anyone works in hospital labs we will have lots to talk about.

I haven't noticed crime here to be much worse then other places - certainly nowhere near the Manchester level.

Thanks for all the replies and general leg pulling.

Things are a bit of a blur at the moment, so going to meetings will have to wait.

I will be based at Brunel house in the city centre. I expect to be a hotel to start with.

Not worried about security as the bike will remain safely in East London for now. Still that is a known risk. Hope to get the bike down to Cardiff soon if it makes sense.
