Had a look at some of the off-road section today.

When were you at pic3 John ? We stopped just down the bank at about 12.00. Brian needed his regular nicotine infusion
After that we headed to New Ross for a nice bowl of chowder

Pic 3 is the river track along the Barrow from St Mullins then cuts up thru the forest and back onto the road at Bahana heading for Graig. Passed along there at 13.30.

We were heading downstream from there so wouldn't have seen ya. Grand day after the fog cleared, wasn't it ?

great day yesterday, really enjoyed leading the run, pitty you two couldn't keep up with me

and anything like the excuses,

me top box fell off

I dropped me bike

something hard hid me pannier

and me GPS told me to go left

In all seriousness, it was a great day and thanks to Jochen and Aidan for putting the route together.

Yes....I do know more difficult sections but they are just not suitable for a heavy GS....period.

Its just gravel tracks and not a huge amount of them either, about 30k total.

As Jochen said you are very welcome, we will be delighted to meet you.

We met Tom the owner of the hotel on Sunday, (we were putting the final touches to the road run ) and he said that there were a few rooms left so give the hotel a call.
Do post again when you are sorted and I will add you to the invader list.
