The "How many points I lost this weekend" thread.

I can only refer you to my earlier posting :D

Sections certainly seemed trickier than last months (a few more tongues out with concentration :D).
Lovely venue and a great way to spend an afternoon.

Well done all.:thumb

When you going to join in, Paul:augie

You weren't wrong:D

So apart from Earthmover, Ferret and Spout there were some other old relics there too:thumb

One to keep Grizz guessing..

Yep:thumb, a rock had moved to just where I wanted to turn:augie

I see that rock now.................no bother, your wheel would have gone over that tiny rock and with a bit of counterweight to your left&back would have given your rear wheel the grip to flick the rock back into the stream

Ferret

What's going on here mate?:D

Denbigh and Mold trial today, glorious weather, good turnout, seriously tough (for me!) course!
I only managed one clean all day, and lost 137 marks.
A couple of killer climbs, some very nadgery woodland, and an utter ba*tard of a section means I ache in lots of places now.
On the other hand, I did get a trophy. Seems I came third in their club championship last year. :thumb

ive got to get a bike , the more i read your threads / pics the more i fancy having a go looks great fun and frustrating at times :)

Yes, it is, and it can be! :thumb
I'm really enjoying the challenge, although at times today I had to convince myself of that!

Excuse #237a:augie was a painful shoulder injury that was plagueing me today and I dropped 39 points:blast

Mark/Earthmover on the other hand only dropped 3!!!:clap

I thought it was only one, but I forgot I had a "2" on the second section as well as the single dab you saw.
Denise retired after a fairly spectacular off into a gully. She only has a bruised hand to show for it, but it shook her up pretty badly. :(
And after all the rushing about, her daughter's bus was an hour late!

Wrexham club trial at Nant Ucha, Trevor yesterday. One of my favourite venues and a well used practice ground. :thumb
Lap 1 - 22, including two '5's, but a couple of 'cleans' as well.
Lap 2 - 18, managed to turn the '5's into '3's.
Lap 3 - 13, best lap of the day, even with a '5' in one section.
Lap 4 - 23, went to pot! Loss of concentration cost me a lot of silly marks, and another '5'.

76, but reasonably pleased.
Next time you're free Tim, I've some good sections for you. :D
