Off to pisa...

we did it, Pisa in one bit...

And time for a spot of camping the night before we hit Pisa after leaving rome.

And tomorrow we'll be off to monaco i think...or was it a trip down the route napoleon, bugger cant remember..Anyways nice piccies coming.

The Zeplin

I live about 20 minutes from Friedrichshafen where the Zeplin in based. Friedrichshafen Messe (exhibition centre) has a museum covering the history of airships in the city where they were first built, The first Zeppelin airship took off from Lake Constance on 2 July, 1900 . The museum also has a reconstruction of a 33meter section of the LZ 129 Hindenburg in addition to the 1929 Graf Zeppelin which left Friedrichshafen to make the first round-the-world by an airship. You can also book trips on the current Zeplin (which you saw) however last time I went the waiting list was more than 7 months. It has become such a regular sight around the area over the last 5 years that almost nobody taken a second glance.
