I might just go to Yorkshire but it's full o'coonts already. Crikey, I'm slipping into the language, I've been looking at the book so long.

PS For every one bod who moans, there will be 1,000 hoteliers, chip shops and biker friendly cafes that will be more than glad to hear their cash tills ringing again, I'm sure.

I wondered if he'd add the Glenelg ferry, did he mention the viewing point when heading up the hill from Sheil Bridge ? Spectactular view across Loch Druich towards the five sisters of Kintail.

I can click on your links, download from your Dropbox straight into save files on my iPhone and then they just open up perfectly in Scenic App, clip the phone to the bike and away we go...........

(You also got me into using originally Kurviger and then the Scenic apps)

Received my copy today, thanks for the recommendation :thumb2 . This along with the GPX routes should provide sufficient motivation to not repeat the NC500 again this year.
