Took a demo top spec RT out today and did about 150 miles on it. I must admit that after having a proper try on it I begin to see the benefits.
Compared to my 2012 RT-SE it has many improvements, little bits here and there that help to make it better than mine. Still can't see the point of the gear shift thing though.
Personally, i do think its a bloody good bike. BUT, its not a game changer and as the price to change is so great ill be keeping the proper air-cooled bike.:augie

i was in your position a while back ,,did 150 miles and loved it …..went back and did some more a few weeks later ,,, so had wet and dry weather to make a comparison, Bought it ..they grow on you , the more miles you use it the better it is compared to the Air cooled version

Agree with that one. Mind you as i sat and thought about it I find the price a bit salty

Just get one and you will be completely converted. They are the business...

I just love mine. I have not felt as comfortable on a new bike as quickly as this. In dynamic mode on the way home today I wound it up in third overtaking a car, crested some bumps that lifted the front wheel at interesting speeds. Fot a big comfy bike it is most entertaining. :)

I have concluded that I have found myself on an RT as I am getting older and the LC is younger in outlook than previous incarnations. We have met in the middle!

That is an angry looking bike.
