Less of a ride report, more of a "what we did at the weekend"

Denise's daughter seems to be happy on the back of my bike while Denise and I ride, so perhaps some better gear is in order. She has a good helmet, boots and gloves, but Denise's old jacket is too big for her. First stop on Saturday was the J&S superstore at Oakmere. Not my favourite emporium, but they do have a well stocked kids rail.
Suitably togged up in her new Frank Thomas jacket, a quick spin would be in order. So off we went, to what is our favourite emporium, The Adventure Bike Warehouse. :thumb
Denise had packed half a chocolate cake to keep Gaz and Jono sweet, so we shared that, drank coffee, kicked the tyres on a Triple Black, chucked it at a couple of roundabouts, and generally talked bollox. Fortunately, I didn't take a photo of Gaz polishing his swinging arm, but we do now have another disciplinary option at our discretion.
"If you're not good, we'll send you to Uncle Gaz!"

On Sunday we did a reverse of a ride we had done a few weeks ago, searching for "The Hand" at Lake Vyrnwy. We set off over Denbigh Moor to have lunch at Llyn Brennig visitor centre.

Then past Bala, where we saw Ted and Sue's bikes parked up, but couldn't find them. Along the lake and left at the end to go up "The Pass of the Cross".

Down the road then to Lake Vyrnwy, to find the elusive "Hand" that I had promised to show them last time, and had missed. Timolgra had put me right, but I was busy watching my trip count down as we rode along, so a punch in the kidneys was a sign that we had found it!

After arsing around taking photos of the tree, a quick visit to the Lake View Tea Rooms, for coffee and ice cream, well deserved.

And the reason for me watching my clocks so intently?
I give you, His satanic Milage.....

Clicked up at the very moment we saw the tree!

I know the Hand of which you speak! :thumb
Better for SWMBO, but not as welcoming for trail riders as across the road, if my last visit was anything to go by.
