The pain to Spain tour

Today would be the last day of the trip, and we had decided to go to Hornfleur, this was another place we had never been to, and what a cracking day we had, the weather was perfect the ride along the coast was good, and Hornfleur was really nice,if just a little to busy for my liking, lots to see, plenty of places to eat and drink, some very unusual buildings. On the way back we called in and had a coffee at pegasus bridge, and sat and reflected on the time spent in Normandy.

And thats it, all we had to do was catch the boat and do the 230 miles back of wich 160 miles were in torrential rain.
This was just a round up of the highlights of the trip.

my apologies for any mistakes and poor photographs, and for the fact it may have bored some people.
I do hope that someone takes something from it, an idea of where to go or maybe what to see, then thats a result.

Time spent away from door to door 35 days.
Milage was 4600
and thanks for all the kind comments.

Have enjoyed your trip report, thanks for taking the time and effort.

I can only dream of a 35 day adventure.....

Well done on keeping the bike sunny side up with the puncture, that could have been very nasty.

Some great photos in the report, an interesting read and if I find myself down there I'll definitely do your round trip route. Thanks for taking the time to write it all up and post the pictures, it takes lot of time.

I had a grin at the description of your "big gal", do you ever forget that she's on the back? :D

Setting the standard for ride reports!

I've been to many of the places you visited and it brings back great memories. Thanks for taking the time to write it all up.
