The Quartet....

Coffee stop was at Rosedale Abbey..................which bizarrely doesn't have an abbey and never did

Your right John Rosedale Abbey never did have an abbey but it did have a Cistercian priory.
The difference being monks lived in an Abbey and nuns lived in a Priory.

There is still a little of the old priory left behind the church.

Looks like you had a great ride, should have given me a shout.

Steve

We did talk of you in Rosedale, funnily enough.................but we thought 'you'd be up to your ears in packing cases':D

Let's have a shuftie at your pics, I know you took some:D

I think Peters doing a deal with the devil today so yesterday's was the last GS ride.

I'm heading back in a bit so will try and post any pics.... It's all to complicated with a phone.

If you get equal portions there's always a price and you never know when it will pop up and bite you in the bum.

Great shot Tim and I do hope the ride back is enjoyable.:thumb

At the end whilst sheltering from the rain and eating a cold pasty in the porch of the Gents:ChrisKelly....I thought, where next?

It's the first time I've made it across the causeway, last time 'someone' with a very strange Berwick accent:augie had the tide tables for the previous year.....that ride through a rapidly advancing wall of sea water was something to be remembered:D

But I was lucky this time:)
