The route to Kesh....

Anyone want to propose a nice route up to Kesh for next weekend?
I dont fancy the N3 as the GPS would suggest. (Ill be coming from Maynooth)
I remember once making a cross country run from somewhere in Cavan, down to the N4, passing by some fantastic scenery, lakes etc. I think this was the children of LIR lake But Ive no idea where it was.

Hi Orla......... the lake is Lough Owel... beautiful statue of the Children of Lir...
