Should be wearing earplugs regardless of tyre roar- wind noise will, over a long period of time, have a significantly detrimental affect on hearing.

With the Anakees I was wearing ear plugs for every ride, switched to Tourance Nexts and now only wear them if it involves long distances on multi lane roads.

No idea what they are like off road.

good earplugs are the only solution, i never bothered till i bought my first LC

Same for me, more relaxed without the sound of whirring rumbling and clanking, enjoy the the bike more every time I go out.
