The video you’ve all been waiting for “Hey kids”

Will be interesting to hear what he has to say to be fair.

It wont be a bias view from a sales person, He is a BMW GS fan and has had is own for a long time.
Id like to hear what he thinks of the new GS from the POV of a current GS owner.

Cant watch it now, im in the office.
Will watch on TV later at home 👍

Lets have a guess, in a boring bland way, he likes it.

I like him if you ever see him out of TMF mode he is actually a really smart funny guy

A good balanced review . It has no place on here . The keyboard worriers (sic) will be boiling da piss imminently

TMF makes some good points . Especially re the lack of backlit switch gear which I think is a huge omission on a bike costing over £20K when configured.

I don't mind his videos either, but then you can't please everyone.
exactly.

He seems a likeable guy to me and his subscribers and regular viewers prove he's doing something right.
he has 257K subscribers, i have only 3.5k.
So more like him than me 🤣

I do like the 1300 too, think i need to test ride it.
Although i suspect the differences in ride will be very subtle indeed.

I've never met him but I suspect he would be different in "real life"

I've met TeaPotOne and UsernameKate several times and they (obviously) aren't the same as they are on their videos

I couldn't care less about backlit switchgear it makes absolutely no difference to me and its not something ive ever felt ive needed in 35 years on a bike.

slick presentation in his usual style, avoided much reference to the price and to the competition by name, no doubt influenced by the fact he has the bike as a freebie, you don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Watching paint dry is more interesting than watching this TMF video…Booring and Zero information ! And yes he problably drives a automatic car because there are no back lid shift knobs to tell him what gear he is in…I would say if you need back lid knobs to look at and take your eyes off the road at night because you cant feel them you should not ride a motorcycle for obvious reasons ! Otherwise boring sound almost as depressing as the straight wet roads and grey skies…😉Also no word about a tight U turn @ steering lock on rear brake and friction point on the clutch which would have resulted in another shoulder surgery due to the linked foot brake…🤣 No high speed test to see if she still wobbles like a goats dick at high speeds even if this is dangerous and illegal 🤣 So no word about the too small of a tank that kills the last urge to buy one…😉 And that from a Boxer Fanboy 🤣👍 He forgot to mention that the bags are smaller but have a light inside which is a great tradeoff…Way to go BMW ! Oh well the excitement/honeymoon is over…Now looking forward how they screw up the rest of the new models to come 🤣 Like the new R Nine T still looking like the origional from 11 years ago which is not a bad thing but why should you buy one when the old one sounded better and the new one still has no factory options for centerstand or hardbags 😳

You probably haven’t needed it but when a bike has a complicated menu system like the new 1300, backlit switchgear would help .

I was actually thinking this last night, I was out on the bike, it was 2 degrees and I wanted to turn the heated grips up and although I can usually do it by feel, it took a couple of attempts to get the multi function button and then the up/down to do it. Backlit switches would have been greatly appreciated at that moment.

Some GobShite will be along shortly to tell you that you shouldn’t be riding if you can’t find the controls in the dark

I've always thought back lit switches would be a good thing and never understood why they're not fitted as standard.

I think he might also have said nd I agree bit of a shame its lost a basic heated grip button and they've dumped it into a multi function menu!! one of the most used features in the uk! I did find it a bit of a faff adjusting that and the heated seat on my (albeit brief) testride.

Those of us with RTs have had to put up with going through the menu to adjust heated grips and seat since 2014. Never found it a problem, so adjusting to a GS1300 will be easy :)
