In Ireland our reg plates go from Jan-Jun 161 and Jul-Dec 162 so 16 is the year and 1&2 distinguish what half of year you bought in. Actual real date would be around the end of November or start of December. So the the sake of a 4 week wait and I can a new bike feel all year long rather than just four weeks. Sad I know but hay.
Was going to buy one a few years old but in the end I said to hell with that as I never had a new bike apart from when I was 14 in Italy and that was a 50cc so it doesn't count.....that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!
Besides the options was upgrade the cage and get a second hand GSA or new GSA and keep the same cage.......it was a no brainer!

Ah the memories. Favourite prank was to jam part of a wooden ice cream stick into the spark plug cover then place it back on the plug. Great fun watching someone trying to start the bike/scooter/moped

This one will have the new blinking emergency lights and the new abs that you can use in a corner.....not planning on ever using either haha. Can't wait, it's going to be a long 3 months!!
What colour did you go for? Actually temped to get the panels sprayed black. Dealer can do it for about 300.

I just have a thing against white on a vehicle because in Dublin it's the favoured colour for drug dealers, scum and bike robbers.....actually if I get white they may leave it alone and save me getting judged by 12 of my peers in court
