I put this update in the camp posting but thought I would do my own one.

Aim to leave camp Saturday morning at 10:00 to get to the lunch stop at 11:30 where I have booked us a 'table' for 15 people. Not knowing how many Tossers come on the ride out until the morning then I just chose a figure. They do not serve hot food until 12:00 but I asked them nicely and they will accept us at 11:30 for hot food orders before their normal lunch time rush.

So that I am not getting staff to cook hot food for us unneccessarily (?), could you please vote as to if you require hot food or not.

A typical days menu will include:
 Macaroni Cheese served with a Side Salad
 Vegetable Crumble with a Crispy Cheese Topping
 Home-made Soup of the Day served with Crusty Bread
 Jacket Potatoes with a Selection of Fillings
 Assortment of freshly made Sandwiches
 Hot Cornish Pasty served with a Side Salad

If there is not the demand then I will cancel the early cook-up.

Cheers
Joe

There's 7 so far for hot food so I have reduced the table to 10 heads for 11:30 nosh but not an issue if more than 10 turn up.
Remember we leave camp @10:00.

As for the ride ... we will be doing the 'marker system' which hopefully you are all aware off. If not then PM and I will explain.

You can get fuel at the start of the ride.

A small part of the pre-lunch ride you may come across sheep and cattle in the road - you will know the area as we will pass over a cattle grid. Be careful as they like to stand/lie down on the edge of the road.

Second part of the ride is a bit more challenging than the first so be alert :rob

Hope to see you soon.

Joe,
Sounds like a great opportunity for free barbeque fodder!! fillet steaks all round!! YES!!!.

Just to confirm Joe, that I'll probably be staying on camp, or in Sainsburys, to prep the evening meal. We'll see what happens on the day.

BTW. Get some pictures for the ride report, especially Eynsford. :thumb
