The Warren Rally (Kent) 8th Oct 2011 - All welcome

Would like to leave camp at 10:00 and the route is approx 70 miles with lunch about half way round.
I have yet to test the route but will be nothing strenuous or too long due to the time of the year.

Might test the route this Saturday as the weather looks good.

Did the route today and tidied up the 2nd half as it was rather 'straight roads'.
Roughly, 1 hour to get to lunch stop and then 2 hours back. So if we have an hour for lunch then that means we will be back by 14:30 if we leave @ 10:00. Not too many back roads as I know some people don't like to get their bikes dirty. However, there will be an opportunity to rinse the dirt off on the way back.

I can do a longer ride out if you want to.

Ride out

Well done Joe, sounds brilliant.

I'll try and get there on the Sat night Pauly....am playing rugby in Tonbridge, so will drive over afterwards...sadly no bike, but I'll do my best to do a couple of cases of LAGER....

made up for my lack of swearing this morning, out of earshot from the lovely wife....

told a nutter client that I could help locate spares for their spaceship, if they had the money... however in the meantime I was busy doing work here on planet earth....

Tail End Charlie & Saturday Lunch

For the ride out on Saturday I am looking for a tail end charlie who also has a SatNav, preferably a Tom Tom, to control the back of the pack. If you have a Garmin then I can email the route and you can convert.

I have booked us a 'table' for 15 people at our lunch stop. They do not serve hot food until 12:00 but I asked them nicely and they will accept us at 11:30 for hot food orders.

I know that not everybody on the camp comes out on the ride but if you are then could you please PM me to let me know so I get an idea of the numbers.

Thanks
Joe
