The Wayfairers when it snows.

Anybody ridden across The Wayfarers in the snow?
Can you still see the trail?
Thinking of doing both directions & lunch at the West Arms Hotel at the east end of the trail if there's a light fall.
Is it advisable or is it too dangerous?
Anyone interested?

Wayfarer has and Emergency TRO on it at present, so it is closed towards the Eastern end. This was placed on the route by Wrexham Borough County Council on 16th November. Recent rains have caused damage to the Eastern end, so up from Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog to the first gate and then to the small bridge over the river.
The Western end, ie, from Llandrillio to the sheep pen and then left back down towards Cynwyd is ok to use.

Just waiting for a sprinkling of snow so I can take some photos for a desktop image. I may resort to Llantysilio if it's too cold by the time I reach Llangollen.

Btw, how many riders do you recon will drop out of the March Moon gig? I've been 11th reserve for ages!

That's a million dollar question........ no idea is the answer, but there will be drop-outs, there always is......
I am going to run two smaller does in Jan and Feb under the Hard As F*ck banner....... snow and ice are being prayed for.......
