Thanks for posting those pics and the excellent report - I for one really enjoy seeing GSs on the trails...

Cheers,

Paul G

Fantastic action shots, Clive! :clap :clap :clap

Your pics are far more exciting - I'm still too occupied with keeping my bike upright than to think of actually stopping in awkward places and taking pictures... :mmmm

Great stuff - you can teach me some tricks the next time! :thumb

Por cierto, mi español no está mal... :D

Some great photos, and write cheers and thanks for sharing :thumb2

think this is a cracking picture :thumb2

That all looks great.

Could you let me know where the start or end of the easy pessy Ryknild Street is, not done much green lanes so an easy one would be great.

Thanks

Rich

The 'Ryknild Street' is an old Roman Road and connects the B4068 (leading westwards from Stow-on-the-Wold to the A436 and Andoversford) to Condicote (hence also called 'Condicote Lane'), crossing the B4077.

OS Landranger 163 (Cheltenham & Cirencester) or Multimap.com

In Condicote bear left and carry on north-east until you meet tarmac again near Guitinghill Farm. Then find your way Kineton (the lane near Kinetonhill Farm might be a bit tricky on a GS though...) for some water sports at the two fords (careful, the northern one has a nasty step):

Have fun! :thumb2

Thanks Pumpy and Clive for a great write-up and pics.

Sad I couldn't make it, but the North Devon beaches ahd my full attention that weekend.

Wales will be even better ...

Just in case you are interested - Clive has posted details of the tracks we did around Alton in the 'Mud Slinging & Water Sports' section here.

Great job, Clive, thanks for all your time and efforts! :clap :clap :clap

Looked a bit less muddy this weekend though... :augie

Great pics.

Leaves me wondering what is possible in and around central Scotland.

Anyone know?

Anyone willing to take an offroad novice (3 days in the sun in Spain done't really count, no mud!)

Cheers

Alan

I'll be out exploring more lanes between Basingstoke and Alton this Saturday morning - a bit of an ongoing project :)

Hi Fred,

We are actually going to Mid Wales today - big-trailie-recce-run for the UK AdventureRider Rally the weekend after.

If you are interested in the rally - there is also a group of UKGSers coming (see thread in the Wales section).

CU on the trails! :thumb2
