Has anyone experience of the Thermarest Boost sleeping bag?
I’m shopping for a new down-filled 3-season bag, and the Boost’s comfort features (expansion zip, armholes) look interesting. I already have a serious winter bag, so this is to cover the warmer months.

You have lots of good options in that price range.

I use my Helium 250 for 3 seasons. Which looks to be nigh on the same specs as your option.

I have the thermarest Hyperion ( the one rated to -6º) and it superb and packs up so small so I would imagine the one you are considering is pretty good

I have the same and a silk liner adds 3 degrees, some clothing adds more if required. But I prefer very light and add if needed

thanks folks.
I've got a lovely -18C bag for winter duties. Originally I was just going to get a standard down mummy bag, but It looks like there's new thinking in the world of sleeping bags.
The idea of a bag that can either have wriggle room or be cinched down for warmth is intriguing.
Armholes too - reminds me of my old Ajungilak Igloo Twin which has cords you can tie over your shoulders, so you can sit upright and stay warm. I bought it after nearly freezing at a northern England bike rally 30+ years ago. I've still got it, but packed down its still massive.

Me too, the warm clothes I wear around the evening campfire add a season to the bag (which can therefore be smaller / lighter). I like my Buffalo mountain shirt for that.
