Looking for a little thermometer i can stick on the ADV, well 3 infact (not all for me).
Anyone one know where to get them from? :nenau

Thanks

Recon Matron could help you there mate. Bit fragile for a ADV rider who needs instruments to tell if its hot or cold though. :D :D

I bought the Lidl £3.99 temperature gauge much discussed on one thread here...gives reading at two points and an audible frost alert. Not sure if they still have them...bought mine 3 weeks ago and it's still working well.

Will have a pop to lidl in the morn. Cheers

Going to be alot of riding in quite a few different climates so though it would be handy to have a look at the temps.
Not going to use it to decide whether i need my thermals or not, or whether sun cream is required :D

I got a neat little thermometer from Maplin's at £7.99. Just superglue it underneath the instrument panel (but fit the sensor in the airstream otherwise it reads rising hot air from the engine)

No pix of mine, but Greg Masters fitted one and has pix here

Thermometers - :nenau :nenau

Always makes me laugh when i see them on bikes - but each to their own :D

I picked a few of these up at Louis, a motorcycle accessory chain in Germany. It is held in place with a strip of 3M Dual Lock.

Product no. 10034851. They go on sale for €6.95 now and then.

Thanks for that info. :thumb

Bet your glad you've all fitted your gauges -

otherwise you'd have no idea that it's hot out there . :D :bounce1

Thermometers?

Get Forry to show you his! :ymca I brought one back from Iceland for him (its German) it goes 'down' oh so low into the subzero!! :thumb Matches the old 1150 dials a treat and stickies onto the screen mount! Sorry I've no piccies of my own to show you.

Nearly as good as the compasses that some seem to stick on their binnacles so they can point towards their alternators :D

My friend is sorted and got one from Aerostitch.

Had never really heard of them until i was on this forum and then only thought that they did the suits but they do a whole lot more. Visited the factory in Duluth the other week and took some shots for those of you that are intersted in seeing them. A proper working factory, no glitz or glamour.

Will not be till mid August when the other 2 bring me the laptop.
