I bought the Lidl £3.99 temperature gauge much discussed on one thread here...gives reading at two points and an audible frost alert. Not sure if they still have them...bought mine 3 weeks ago and it's still working well.
Going to be alot of riding in quite a few different climates so though it would be handy to have a look at the temps.
Not going to use it to decide whether i need my thermals or not, or whether sun cream is required
I got a neat little thermometer from Maplin's at £7.99. Just superglue it underneath the instrument panel (but fit the sensor in the airstream otherwise it reads rising hot air from the engine)
No pix of mine, but Greg Masters fitted one and has pix here
Get Forry to show you his! I brought one back from Iceland for him (its German) it goes 'down' oh so low into the subzero!! Matches the old 1150 dials a treat and stickies onto the screen mount! Sorry I've no piccies of my own to show you.
Had never really heard of them until i was on this forum and then only thought that they did the suits but they do a whole lot more. Visited the factory in Duluth the other week and took some shots for those of you that are intersted in seeing them. A proper working factory, no glitz or glamour.
Will not be till mid August when the other 2 bring me the laptop.
