Can't wait to get to get these beauties on the bike.

Conti TKC 70s. Total cost £165 via Tyre Leader - ordered 02 April. Arrived today. :-)
PS I've not just swished the cat. The red splodge is little daughter's brolly. :-)

Im well impressed with Tyre Leader. Ordered just before easter and arrived in less than 7 days and an excellent price. What you see is what you pay.

I was hoping to get them fitted today but too busy. :(

I was close to buying Heidenau K60 Scouts but they really are a bit too aggressive. Their K76 (Tourance lookalike) was possible then these came along with good reviews.

Are you fitting these yourself? I used to change my own tyres until I switched to Heidenaus. Their bead us far too tight for me:-( I would be interested to know how the TC70s are for hand fitting. I admit that I have a set on my GSA but I had them fitted for me, purely out of laziness on my part.

I have the tools but at £12 each I'm too lazy.
These have the same carcass as trail Attack so should be ok to fit

In the end it cost £15 each but I put them on my wire wheels, swapped pressure sensors and balanced. They they did a fine job.
The bike initially felt knife edge to ride but air pressure was way too high. At 32F and 40R it's well planted. They show just how lazy handling the old tyres had become.
On road there is a little vibration but they are quite knobbly. On gravel they are completely solid. The old hoops were exciting for all the wrong reasons.
They are standard sizes but definitely taller than before. ESA low height feels like pillion height.

Thanks for the recommend, I need to replace my Tyre Pressure Sensor batteries soon and fit some new boots for my France trip in May.

Just ordered a pair of Michelin Pilot Road 4 (Trail) in GSA fitment from tyre leader for £173.68 delivered (just seen the same pair on eBay for £209 with black circles). After hooning around on Metzeler Tourances for years, these should be interesting.

The TKC70 are aggressive looking so I used the wire wheels. I might try PR4s on the cast wheels at a later date.
Back to the TKC for a moment - despite my very limited experience - the current reviews seem to be on the button.
