Emmet, i am uncertain with these tactics,

I am at present thinking of changing my 09GSA for a 2010 one.

I always buy new and always call a number of dealers to get an exchange/trade in price nationwide, i doesnt matter to me if i travel a few hundred miles to get the right deal.

I then decide on who i want to buy from ( not always the cheapest ).

Are you saying that you want "someone" to come along just to get a price, nearly every dealer ( except Park Lane) are willing to give you a " ball park" price over the phone, and after visiting you, you would still want to go away and check with the other BMW dealers to see if they can beat your price.

If your willing to give buyers a ball park price over the phone of the cost over that weekend im sure they, and i would be happy to come along and seal the deal on the day :nenau

Not Again

Well I did.
Took a friend down on Saturday cause he thought he might be temtped off his 1150. They put a cracking deal on the table and his hand is quivering over the cheque book.
Actually there was between 1500 and +2k off their shop prices.
Needless to say I spotted a cracking deal (been quietly looking lately) and chopped in the wifes 650 for an 800 with a few extras thrown in.
Pick it up Thursday.

Hey - some of you guys can rant and rave and use as many #*@# as you wish. If you didn't agree with Emmet's marketing concept then don't join in. Some of us are part-timers, who ride purely for enjoyment, appreciate constructive information and we are all the wiser for the free information forums like this offer.

And my wife has a shiny new 800 on its way.:thumb2
 
It is the unfortunate nature of some on this site simply to have a pop at genuine offers - it happens all the time!
