Thinking of getting a HP2

Just sold my 1200 ADV and got a very good price thanks to Ewan & Charley
There are a few HP2's for sale at bmw dealers offering warranties but
would i be crazy to buy from a private seller ?

As long as the bike has still some warranty left I don't see any problems with buying private. The condition of the bike should let you know how it was treated. You could always asked the seller to get a report on the bike from a local BMW dealer and of corase you pay the cost.

Apart from the front forks,I don't think the HP2 would be a bad buy privatley.If I was to buy another from a dealer(knowing what I know now)I'd make sure the forks were on an extended warranty from new.

change front springs to wilbers other than that get one you'll love it... but be careful it's a monster...
