Thinking of selling my bike.....

I know its always great when someone puts up these threads but I have no idea how much my bike is worth!

Thinking of selling my wonderful 650GS twin as A nice 1200GS has come up at my local dealer at a good price.

Photo is most recent from Novemeber. Bike has 37500 miles on the clock, tyres have a fair amount of life left in them and I can provide a half worn set of Mitas E-09 with the bike as well.

Fitted:

Metal Mule Balanced pannier system
BMW plastic sump guard
1200GS handguards (can also throw in barkbuster ones as well that need a little cleaning up)
Mirage 2 screen
Metal Mule crash bars
Rugged roads rear plate
Oringal exhaust
Wunderlich spot lights
Metal Mule Radiator sheild
BMW comfort seat
BMW tank bag

Im sure I am forgetting something!

Has OBC, heated grips, centre stand.

So whats it worth? 5K? :nenau Really don't know. Your help/comments/abuse needed! :)
 
In the current climate consider stripping all the farkles off it and flogging them on here (or ebay - where some twit may end up paying retail price for them!) and trading the 650 in against your new 1200. That was the best outcome for me when I went from 800GS to 1200RT last summer.

Thanks, that was one of the options I was thinking about, I shall have to think about how much the accessories are worth and see what the dealer offers for the bike.

Still thinking about weather to go for the 12GS anyway, so plenty of time to think!
 
I`m stripping mine down at the moment,when I`m done I will sell the bike.I`m not sure what year yours is, but mine is a 59 plate 800gs with 11,500 miles and I will be selling for about £4000

Can't believe I didn't put the year down! Mine is also a 59 plate! Thanks makes it easier for me to price mine!

Will let you know what the dealer offers, you interested in the bike mpriestly?
 
Put the MM panniers on the 1200... They cost a fortune they do...:thumb2
 
Haha, it may well be shocking how little I get!

Bike I am getting comes with varios already but I guess I could sell them.
 
I hope you told him where to go. . . . . . Presume that has made your mind up, if to sell or not, the bike must be worth far more to you :eek
 
I think it`s the same spec as yours,it has the obc, heated grips centre stand,I think its called the comfort pack.Currently has barkbusters,bash plate,sw-motech crash guards sw motech pannier racks and caribou luggage and a hugger. Mileage is 11,500 fsh
