This 660 is doing my head in !!

Just updated the maps on my 660 to 2016.20 and if I tap on the Where To? button I get address icon the the message

No Data Available

so I can't load any addresses or destinations

any ideas ??

Go into settings.. Map.. Map Info, make sure all the boxes are ticked..?

Ah just realised the MAP INFO button is greyed out, no maps so trying download again............another 2 hours

Have the same problem, can't enter addresses, "no data available" In map info it reads, 2016.20 so the maps apparently are there. Tried reinstalling maps and I've sat for the past 4 hrs watching " 34 mins remaining" I gave up. What now I ask ?

transalper44.... Without doing anything else, when you turn on your 660 and just look at the map on the device (just as if you were using it to navigate) is the map:

(a) Detailed, ie you can see all the small lanes and roads

(b) Un-detailed, with just the base map's major roads shown

If (a) can you drag the detailed map around and zoom it in and out?

Hi Wapping Yes, (A) & it can be dragged as well zoom in and out. Also, when it's turned on, the bar that loads the maps (the green one) only goes 99% of the way across.

O I meant to add, formatted a new 16g SD card, loaded that and tried again to reinstall the maps, this time it installed them but, when it's turned on, the "No Data Available" appears again. Going a trip to Europe in May and I'm concerned it may let me down with the routes I'm going to load !!
