if I disconect the battery on my '09 GSA, is it going to cause me any problems when I reconnect it?

I've heard with the 1150 GS you're supposed to reset the TPS when the battery has been disconnected. Is there anything similar with the 1200 GSA?

TIA.:thumb

Yup, same with the 1200.

Turn on the ignition but don't start the bike, wind the throttle to the stop 2 or three times and bob's yer uncle :thumb2

Thanks for the quick answer.

Righto. No 'taking out fuse 5' or any of that business?

No fuses to be taken out at all, thanks to the canbus. I'd rather have some fuses though, I don't entirely trust the canbus to deal with shorts.

Are you sure you need to do the throttle wind up thing? You don't on the 1150, that sorts itself out the first time you ride the bike :nenau

Made my fuel "countdown" tell fibs - said I had 17 miles left when it ran out.

Okay after refilling.

Cool thanks for the replies. I didn't even need to reset the clock and everything seemed to be working fine and dandy this morning.:thumb2
